"Zhetysu" Supported Kazakhstani Clubs in European Competition

Today, the employees, football players and coaching staff of the Zhetysu football club supported the initiative of the Kazakhstan Football Federation and the Professional Football League of Kazakhstan and held a mini marathon "Presidential Mile".

The event was organized in support of football clubs performing in European club competitions, as well as in honor of the 20th anniversary of Astana.

The mini-marathon was held at the central stadium "Zhetysu". The director of the club Serik Mukanov, sports director Ruslan Baltiev, club's administration, football players from the First League team - Zhetysu B, coaches and pupils of the football center took part in the ''Presedential Mile''.

- Zhetysu region is the birthplace of the first President of Kazakhstan, the leader of the nation Nursultan Nazarbayev, who became the main ideological inspiration for the construction of the new capital, beautiful Astana, which is a symbol of independent Kazakhstan and it is doubly pleasant for us to support all initiatives aimed at popularization of our capital Astana and the entire Kazakhstan sport! - the head of the club Serik Mukanov emphasized.

FC "Zhetysu" handed over the baton to the football club "Kyzyl-Zhar SK".
