Walking Football Challenge held in Pavlodar

Six teams took part in the tournament: Uspenka, Dostar, Sharbaqty, KTZ, Spartak and Anod from Aksu.

Anod claimed the title, while KTZ finished as runners-up and Spartak secured third place.

Individual awards were also presented:

Best Goalkeeper: Zhumagali Turuntayev (Anod)

Best Defender: Stanislav Kuznetsov (KTZ)

Best Forward: Ruslan Kizatov (Sharbaqty)

Best Player of the Tournament: Bauyrzhan Kosyntayev (Spartak)

Pavlodar became the sixth city in Kazakhstan to host the Kazakhstan Football Federation's Walking Football project.

President of the Pavlodar Regional Football Federation, Oyrat Saduov, shared his thoughts on the tournament:

"It was a great tournament, especially for me as a football veteran. Everything was organised to a very high standard, and I would like to thank the Kazakhstan Football Federation for organising this event. I believe Walking Football has great potential because there are many people who can no longer run but still want to play football. Walking Football gives them that opportunity, and I'm sure more and more people will become interested in this format."

Walking Football is a unique initiative designed to promote an active lifestyle, improve health and wellbeing, and give football veterans the opportunity to return to the game they love. The project has already attracted significant interest from former players and football veterans across Kazakhstan.
