Kazakhstan CP Football National Team Hosts First Safeguarding Seminar
During the seminar, the players were introduced to the key principles of creating a safe football environment, the rights and responsibilities of everyone involved, measures to prevent inappropriate behaviour, and the procedures for reporting concerns and seeking support in potentially unsafe situations.
Since July this year, the Kazakhstan Football Federation has officially appointed a Safeguarding Officer responsible for developing and overseeing the Federation's child safeguarding and safe football environment. The role includes delivering educational initiatives, implementing the KFF's Safeguarding policy across Kazakhstan football, and coordinating safeguarding activities with all relevant departments of the Federation.
Protecting children and creating a safe football environment are among the key priorities of the KFF's long-term development strategy. In line with FIFA and UEFA principles, the Federation will continue its systematic efforts to foster a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone involved in football.
