Kazakhstan eFootball Mobile National Team Reaches FIFA eNations League Top Eight, Qualifies for UEFA eEuro
As part of the prestigious FIFA eNations League, Kazakhstan finished among the top eight national teams in Europe.
Throughout a series of highly competitive matches, Kazakhstan's players delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania and Switzerland.
The European Finals will take place in Portugal on 5–6 September. In addition to the continental title, the tournament will also offer two qualification places for the FIFAe World Championship.
This historic achievement is the result of a systematic approach to the development of competitive gaming in Kazakhstan. Earlier this year, on the initiative of KFF President Marat Omarov, the Federation launched a dedicated esports development programme. A key milestone was the signing of an agreement with EA SPORTS and the organisation of Kazakhstan's first-ever eKPL competition.
The programme is already delivering results at both national team and individual level. Daniyar "DAN1K" Sharabadin, representing Shakhter Karaganda and winner of the inaugural eKPL, competed at the eChampions League in Manchester. He became the first player representing a Kazakhstan club to compete in the prestigious European competition and finished among the top 30 players in Europe.
