Scott Munn Meets Kazakhstan Premier League Referees

The seminar opened with a meeting between KFF General Secretary Scott Munn and referees appointed to Kazakhstan Premier League matches. Scott Munn highlighted the important role of the refereeing community in the development of professional football and stressed that the Federation would continue to place a strong emphasis on refereeing standards, referee education and consistency in officiating.

As part of the programme, participants completed tests on the Laws of the Game, VAR protocols and video-based assessments of match situations. The assessments helped evaluate the readiness of referees, assistant referees and VAR officials for the upcoming Kazakhstan Premier League fixtures.

A significant part of the seminar was dedicated to the analysis of match situations. Participants reviewed UEFA training materials alongside match incidents from Kazakhstan Premier League, First League and Second League matches. This approach helps promote a consistent interpretation of key decisions and improve the consistency of officiating across domestic competitions.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants refreshed their theoretical knowledge, reviewed practical match situations and received additional guidance ahead of the upcoming rounds of the championship.
