UEFA Playmakers Programme Kicks Off in Kokshetau

Coaches from the Okzhetpes Football Centre, physical education teachers from local schools, and professional female footballers who are planning to pursue coaching careers are taking part in the seminar.

Throughout the programme, participants are introduced to the core principles of the UEFA Playmakers methodology through both theoretical and practical sessions. The seminar aims to equip participants with modern approaches to engaging girls aged 5 to 12 in football through play-based learning.

UEFA Playmakers is designed to promote children's physical activity, creativity and interest in football. The programme uses a unique methodology inspired by Disney stories and characters, helping children take their first steps in football in a fun and engaging environment.

The implementation of UEFA Playmakers forms part of the Kazakhstan Football Federation's ongoing efforts to develop women's football and create more opportunities for girls across the country's regions.
