Kazakhstan to Host Official UEFA EA SPORTS FC™ 26 Championship
The competition will be held in two stages.
Stage One (Online): Participants will compete online for a place in the LAN Finals. To take part, players must register via the official website. Following the online qualifiers on 22 August, the top eight players will advance to the LAN Finals. Matches will be played in EA SPORTS FC™ 26 Ultimate Team™ using a single-elimination format.
Stage Two (LAN Finals): On 29 August, the eight qualified players will compete in Astana for the national title. Matches will be played in the EA SPORTS FC™ 26 Ultimate Team™ FC Pro competitive mode, featuring the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
The champion will represent Kazakhstan in the eEURO 2026 online group stage qualifiers on 17–18 October.
The Kazakhstan Championship and qualification for eEURO 2026 mark a significant milestone not only in identifying the country's top player and national champion, but also in establishing Kazakhstan's national esports football team.
The project forms part of the Kazakhstan Football Federation's long-term strategy to develop esports football in the country. Earlier this year, the KFF launched a comprehensive initiative aimed at creating a national esports ecosystem.
One of the key milestones of this initiative was the launch of the eKPL, the country's first official EA SPORTS FC™ 26 esports football championship.
Earlier this year, Kazakhstan's eFootball™ Mobile national team also finished among the top eight teams in Europe at the FIFAe eNations League, securing qualification for the FIFAe Continental Championship Europe finals.
