Scott Munn and John van ’t Schip attend Premier League match in Taldykorgan

KFF General Secretary Scott Munn and Kazakhstan head coach John van ’t Schip attended the Premier League match between Taldykorgan’s Zhetysu and Shymkent’s Ordabasy.

For the Dutch coach, the visit to the stadium in Taldykorgan marked his first visit to a league match since his official appointment as head coach of the Kazakhstan national team.

The match provided the new head coach with an opportunity to assess the level of the domestic league first-hand, identify potential candidates for the national team and familiarise himself with the local football infrastructure.

As he continues to familiarise himself with the domestic league, John van ’t Schip also plans to attend Premier League matches in different cities in the future in order to gain a comprehensive overview of potential candidates for the Kazakhstan national team.
