KFF Launches Second Phase of Batyr Joly Project
The Kazakhstan Football Federation has begun the second phase of the Batyr Joly project, focusing on work with football centres across the regions. From 16 to 31 August 2026, KFF representatives will make a series of working visits to football clubs across the country.

“Batyr Joly” is the football DNA of Kazakhstan, setting common guidelines for player development, training methods and the playing philosophy of the national teams. The concept was presented at the Batyr Joly conference.

The first phase of regional work will include visits to Caspiy FC in Aktau, Atyrau FC in Atyrau and Elimai FC in Semey.

The aim of the visits is to study the existing development system for players born in 2014 and 2015, introduce the coaching staff to KFF’s methodological approaches and jointly determine the next areas of work.

The programme will include meetings with club executives and coaches, observation of training sessions, analysis of training content, as well as joint planning and delivery of practical sessions followed by a methodological review.

Particular attention will be paid to coach development, the identification and selection of promising players, individual player development and cooperation between football centres and KFF.

KFF currently works with Elimai FC, Caspiy FC, Atyrau FC, Aktobe FC, Zhas Kyran FC and Ordabasy FC. Work with other clubs and academies will continue at the next stages of the project.

Following each visit, KFF and the respective football centre will determine the next steps for implementing the project, including methodological, personnel and organisational aspects.

The series of visits is part of KFF’s systematic efforts to establish a unified approach to youth player development, from club and regional centres through to the national teams.
