FIFA has approved the Kazakhstan Football Federation’s project under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme for 2026.

FIFA has allocated USD 250,000 to support key initiatives aimed at developing youth football and training specialists.

The grant will support several key areas. A total of USD 125,000 will be allocated to the “Future Champions” project, a large-scale initiative focused on identifying and selecting promising young players. A further USD 50,000 will be used to organise training seminars for coaches and scouts, while another USD 50,000 will cover the operational costs of programme management under the FIFA Operations Project. In addition, USD 25,000 will be allocated to implementing child protection standards and psychological support programmes for participants.

FIFA’s Global Football Development Division, led by its Head Arsène Wenger, praised the quality of the Kazakhstan Football Federation’s project proposals aimed at improving the development of football talent in Kazakhstan.

The FIFA Talent Development Scheme was established to provide comprehensive support to member associations in identifying, developing and supporting young football talent around the world.
