Kyzylorda Supported UEFA Grassroots Week

A number of football events were held in Kyzylorda as part of the UEFA Grassroots Week.

The main competition was held on the basis of secondary school number 198, which is famous for its athletes, in particular, this educational institution brought up the famous weightlifter Ilya Ilyin.

The instructors were former football players, and now football referees, who monitored and coordinated the correct execution of various exercises.

''Such events are developing love for football in more children and adolescents. I am sure that the day is not far off when new bright stars will flash in our football,” KOFF Executive Director Askar Serekov said.

Young athletes were awarded commemorative T-shirts and balls provided by the Kazakhstan Football Federation and UEFA.
