SAYAN HAMITZHANOV: "I AM SURE THAT EACH MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL TEAMS COMMITTEE WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT IN ORDER TO HELP THE NATIONAL TEAM REACH A NEW LEVEL"
- Sayan Zhaksygeldievich, today you have been elected as the chairman of the National Teams Committee by the KFF Executive Committee. Can you tell us about the functions of the committee?
- First of all, I would like to thank the members of the Executive Committee and personally the President of the Federation Adilbek Dzhaksybekov for their trust. The national team is the peak of the football industry of each country and represents the football level of the whole country. The task of the committee will be comprehensive support and assistance in the preparation of national teams and its competitions, coordinating the development of national teams of all ages and advisory assistance of the President of the Federation and the Executive Committee on various issues. We hope that our work will help the new coach of the national team Stanimir Stoilov to achieve the goals set and believe the whole country will be proud of our teams.
- The committee also consists of many well-known people in Kazakhstani football. Who made a decision about the candidates?
- The committee structure is very important for the working process, and I was the proposer. Vladimir Niderhaus, the deputy chairman of the committee, Alisher Apsalamov, Samat Smakov and Murat Tleshev, in my opinion, are the best candidates and representatives of different regions, football cultures and experience of domestic football.
Vladimir Niderhaus is an experienced football manager, the legend of our football, who directly knows and understands the subtleties of the football industry. Samat Smakov and Murat Tleshev - football leaders who were on the field with many of the current players of the national team, who know what means to be a national team player and how to achieve success, they played for different age categories in different years of the football management in the country. Alisher Apsalamov represents not only the football club "Kairat", he has been one of the players of the national team in all age categories, moreover he has western mentality and education, and I am confident that his knowledge will contribute to the benefit of our football. I believe that the current members of the committee have the potential for the most effective and fruitful work, and I believe that we, together with the above-mentioned specialists, will manage to achieve the goals set. We understand how serious our work and tasks. We are all patriots of the national team, and I am sure that each of us will do his best to help our national team to reach a new level.
- Soon the national team of our country starts in the Nations League. What do you think about the prospects in this tournament, what should domestic football fans expect from our team?
- I do not think that it will be correct for me to assess the prospects and chances of our team, I think it is better to ask about this question the coach of the national team. We will try to create the necessary conditions for these prospects and opportunities to the work of the national team. Probably, that the new tournament gives our team a unique chance, which we will need to try to take advantage of, in my opinion there are all the opportunities for this: we have a generation of young players who will be able to represent the national football in the future - Zaynutdinov, Pertsuh in our team, Paragulgov, Alip and many young talents in "Kairat", the young players in Shymkent, Kostanay, Aktobe and other cities allow us to hope that the dreams of the big tournaments with the participation of our can be realized in future qualifiers. Moreover, the successful performances of the FC Astana and Kairat in the European arena give us support, these players are in the main squad. Probably all our rivals in the Nations League are also looking forward to qualifying in the European Championships 2020, but our coach Stanimir Stoilov has shown a good result in the first matches, that our players coached by Stanimir Stoilov are able to fight and do their best in order to reach the goals set.
