Kazakhstan Won Bronze at the European Mini-Football Championship Among Amateurs

The European Mini-Football Championship among amateurs took place in Kiev. 16 strongest teams took part in the tournament.

In the group stage, Kazakhstan defeated Albania (1-0) and Ireland (3-0), then tied with the teams of Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina (both matches ended with a score of 1:1).

In the quarterfinals our team managed to beat the Serbs - 2:1. In the semi-finals Kazakhstan was confronted by Romania. The main time of the game with the Romanians ended with a score of 2:2, in the series of penalty shoot-outs the rivals were stronger - 1:3.

In the match for third place, Kazakhstan confidently defeated the England national team - 2:0. The goal was scored by Didar Sydykbek and Yerzhan Zharylgaganov.

As a result of the European Championship, the Kazakhstan national team won bronze medals. The winner of the tournament was the Czech national team, who beat Romania in the final.
