Alibek Nurseitov: Disputes resolution chamber’s reaction on Fernander Kassai case was timely and comprehensive

Chairman of the KFF Disputes resolution chamber (DRC) Alibek Nurseitov commented on a loud statement of African football. The statement was about complication of his labor relationship with ‘Tobol’ FC, his financial claims to club and, allegedly, the player’s appeal to DRC, which was left without proper reaction.

Alibek NURSEITOV, Chairman of KFF DRC:

“Fernander Kassai really appealed to KFF DRC on the 17th of February, 2020. First of all, I want to clarify that DRC is not entitled to make a decision based on the request by only one of the parties. For an objective assessment of the controversial situation, the arguments of the second side are required.

Following this principle, DRC on the 18th of February sent the player’s statement to ‘Tobol’ FC (Kostanai) for clarification.

In February 26, the response received from ‘Tobol’ FC was sent to Fernander Kassai. The player was asked to provide his claims on it.

There was no further reaction from the player’s side.

On March 17, DRC sent Fernander Kassai a second letter asking him to present his arguments regarding the response from ‘Tobol’ FC.

No materials were received from the player.

Moreover, on March 26, Fernander Kassai appealed to DRC to terminate consideration of his case.

I would also like to emphasize that in dealing with this situation, as well as with others, DRC responded to the parties involved in a timely and comprehensive manner”.
