THE INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT “ZHULDYZ SUMMER CUP” HAS ENDED IN SHYMKENT

The tournament was organized by the Kazakhstan Football Federation with the support of UEFA under the UEFA Assist program.

In addition to the national team of Kazakhstan and the BIIK-Shymkent, representative countries from the neighboring Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the women's national teams of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan under 19 were invited to participate in the tournament.

The main goal of the tournament was the development of women's football, providing game practice for conducting a high-quality educational and training process for players. All matches were held at the Namys Stadium.

The tournament was held in a round-robin system in one round, where each team played three matches.  An important feature of the Zhuldyz Summer Cup is its friendly format – the main task of the competition is not to count points and allocate places, but to provide players with invaluable experience and international gaming practice.

Despite the overall friendly atmosphere of the tournament, the matches were filled with an uncompromising competitive spirit. Each participant was striving to win, which made the tournament truly exciting.
