Madiyar Kembilov: “We strive to promote to the next stage of the UEFA Nations League”

–  We got recovered after the first leg and I would say that we did our best. Moreover, our captain Yulia Myasnikova joined the team. We showed a good and high-quality game.

Definetely, the opponent had chances, but we could have scored. We even had clearer chances to score in the first half and one more at the end of the second half. We could have won the game if we had converted our chances.

We have to prepare for the next matches. We have two important games ahead of us against Estonia and Armenia. We will only play to win. We want to please the fans and show that we have a team that represents the country with dignity.

We are slowly going step by step. Yes, we have some problems with the squad: only five teams compete in the Kazakhstan Championship. I think everything will change for the better.

We strive to promote to the next stage of the UEFA Nations League. We need to win home games and finish in first place. If it doesn’t work out, then finishing second will have a chance to advance to League B through the play-offs, which will take place in February next year.
