Kazakhstan Football Day, which is celebrated on April 25th, is an official day when Kazakhstan joined the European football family.

25th of April 2002 (26th UEFA congress in Stockholm), Kazakhstan has been officially accepted into the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). On this day in particular a new milestone has begun in the history of the development of the most popular type of sports in Kazakhstan.

During this period, Kazakhstan has a made a significant step forward and is continuing to strengthen its positions. Kazakhstan Football Federation congratulates everyone with this important date and appreciate all the effort and contribution put into the development of this sport.
