Kazakhstan appoints Stanislav Cherchesov as new head coach

Stanislav Cherchesov has been appointed as the head coach of the Kazakhstan national football team.

As a former professional goalkeeper, Stanislav Cherchesov played for such football clubs as Spartak (Ordzhonikidze), Spartak (Moscow), Lokomotiv (Moscow) and Dynamo (Dresden).

As a coach, he managed the Russian football clubs: Spartak (Moscow), Zhemchuzhina, Terek, Amkar, Dynamo Moscow. Stanislav Cherchesov also headed the Polish Legia Warsaw, the Russian national team and the Hungarian FC Ferencvarosi TC.
