KFF signs memorandum with Atlético de Madrid S.A.D

The KFF president Adlet Barmenkulov, the president of the Spanish football club “Atlético de Madrid” Enrique Cerezo and the chairman of the Confederation of Combat and Strength Sports Daniyar Abulgazin signed a memorandum of cooperation in the development of youth football.

According to the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the construction of a sports training center and elite training. Moreover, “Atlético de Madrid” will also perform a strategic function.

As part of this project, it is planned to create a sports and educational academy and a consulting center in the city of Talgar (Almaty region) on the basis of the Akbulak Olympic Center. The academy will be equipped with the modern training facilities, including football fields, gyms, classrooms and medical rehabilitation center.

The certified coaches from Spain will provide an individual approach to each player. Young football players from Kazakhstan will be able to study using methods of the Spanish football club, receive grants and get the opportunity to train in Spain.
