Astana Hosts Mini-Football Tournament Among Media Representatives

Astana hosted a mini-football tournament among the media representatives dedicated to the 20 anniversary of Astana.

The participants of the tournament included the TV channels "Khabar" and "QAZSPORT", as well as the journalists of the "Kazinform" agency and the organizers of the tournament - "SPORTINFORM".

"Khabar" played against "Kazinform" in the final match and came from behind - 4:3.

In the match for the third place the TV channel ''QAZSPORT'' played against ''SPORTINFORM''. The result of the match was 2:5 in favor of "SPORTINFORM".

"Khabar" TV - the first place.

"Kazinform" - the second place

SIA "SPORTINFORM" - the third place.

Also, the top players were awarded in the following nominations:

The top player is Viktor Alekseev (Kazinform)

The top goalkeeper - Aibek Kabylsha (Khabar)

The top scorer is Nursultan Kabylbek (Khabar).

The award ceremony was attended by Advisor to the President of the Kazakhstan Football Federation Seilda Baishakov, who addressed the participants of the tournament with a welcome speech:

- On behalf of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, I congratulate all participants of the tournament with the Journalism Day and the 20th anniversary of Astana. The contribution of media representatives to the development and popularization of football in Kazakhstan is huge. It is very good that you are promoting the values of the game number 1, and are actively involved in sports, playing football and taking part in defferent tournaments. I sincerely hope that this tournament will become a tradition.
