Razia Nurkenova: "The result of the match depends on tactics we will play"

The head coach of the Kazakhstan women's national team Raziya Nurkenova answered questions from journalists at the pre-match press conference.

- We had two different halves playing with the Russian team, different tactics. Now we are preparing for the match against England, their players are very technical and fast. It will be difficult, but interesting. Such games help our team gain experience.

We need support from Pavlodar fans, regardless of the result. I would like to see a lot of girls come to the game who may be interested in football, because it is necessary to raise women's football in Kazakhstan. We need more teams  playing in the Kazakhstan Championship. We also need more teams in different age categories - up to 15, 17 and 19 years. This is necessary in order that there is a systematic preparation, so that the girls who come to the teams will be prepared not only technically, but also tactically.

Returning to the match, the opponent has already solved his problems, but we will try to give them a fight. The result of the match depends on how correctly we will play tactically. England has a great coach - Phil Neville, she is well-known here. I think there will be a good game.

- Will there be some changes in the squad of the team compared to the previous match?

- We have invited some football players, some of them I could see on video, and some I was recommended. Now it is clear who benefits and wants to develop. Although, for all these days I have changed my opinion of the players. We talked a lot about play. Today at the end of the day I conducted a survey. Girls want to grow, they are interested in progress. How will we continue to attract young players? We will watch how they play in their youth teams. If any of the players manages to show her skills as a leader, may lead the team, definetely, we will involve her in the national team.
