Kazakhstan beat Turkmenistan in friendly match

The friendly match between the national teams of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan took place as part of the training camp in Dubai (UAE).

By mutual agreement of the parties, the game took place without spectators. This match is not official and will not be included in the FIFA match register.

Islam Chesnokov opened the score in the 2nd minute after a pass from Maxim Samorodov. The first half ended with a minimal victory for the Kazakhstan national team - 1:0.

In the second half, Kazakhstan doubled their lead - Aleksandr Zuev scored his first goal for the national team. The final score is 2:0.

The training camp in Dubai will continue until March 19, after which the team will travel to Athens for the Nations League playoff match. The match between Greece and Kazakhstan will take place on the night of March 21-22 at the Hagia Sophia stadium. In case of victory, Kazakhstan will play with the winner of the Georgia-Luxembourg pair.
