FOOTBALL FIELDS UPGRADING IN ZHEZKAZGAN AND BALKSH

Adlet Barmenkulov met with the akim of the Ulytau region, Berik Abdigaliuly, and the president of the regional Football Association, Galym Nurzhanov. The meeting took place at the Metallurg Stadium. Fans of all ages play at this stadium, and the FC Ulytau, playing in the First League, holds its training sessions and home matches.

It is worth noting that in 2022, a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was signed between the Kazakhstan Football Federation and the Akimat of the Ulytau region, the main goal of which is the development of football in the region. The KFF President highly appreciated the work done by the regional Association in a short period of time, which became possible thanks to the support of the local authorities. At the meeting, the issue of renovating the stadium in terms of replacing the football pitch was raised. Considering that the number of football enthusiasts in this region has sharply increased, the KFF president promised all possible support in this matter.

Moreover, a meeting with the akim of Balkhash Sapar Sataev was organized at the Metallurg Stadium, the field of which was made in 2007. After this, several KPL matches were even held at the stadium. Considering that an application was submitted to the ALAN program website, and also that today this is the only sports facility in the city where football competitions can be held, the president of the federation stated that the KFF, as part of the ALAN football field renovation program, will consider the possibility field updates.
