- We knew it wouldn’t be easy and we’re happy that we won. We have four more friendlies ahead of us and I’m sure that each one will improve our fitness. I’m confident we will arrive at the World Cup in good shape.
- What would you say about your opponent - the national team of Tajikistan?
- Tajikistan are a very good team and they came to play to win. You could see that in the first half when they created a lot of dangerous chances. They are also preparing for their first World Cup, so it was important for them to win.
- What did Kaka tell the team before the match?
- Before the game, the head coach warned that it would be difficult, because it was the first game, and urged us to be patient. I think we fulfilled the coaching staff's instructions. The atmosphere at the arena was great.
