UEFA Seminar for Club Employees on Financial Issues

Astana hosted the UEFA seminar for financial issues of footbal clubs in Kazakhstan.

Experts of the UEFA Сlub Licensing Department Alexis Angelopulos and Ekaterina Gerasimova held a training seminar "Practical training in the UEFA CL / FFP IT Solution" system for the Premier League clubs.

The employees of domestic clubs on financial issues attended the seminar. Representatives of women's clubs - BIIK-Kazygurt (Shymkent) and Okzhetpes (Kokshetau) also took part in the event. According to the new UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations, since the next season, to obtain permission to participate in competitions held by the European organization, women's football clubs in Kazakhstan will have to undergo an obligatory licensing process.

At the beginning of the seminar, Alexis Angelopoulos congratulated the Kazakhstan Football Federation on the fact that the Director of the Licensing / Certification Department Yerzhan Musabekov became a member of the UEFA Club Licensing Committee.

During the training Mr.Angelopoulos presented a new version of the "UEFA Licensing Regulations", and Ekaterina Gerasimova conducted practical exercises using the "CL / FFP IT Solution" program. Also the guests talked about the methods and forms of filling in the financial statements.

In addition, the methodological guidelines for the provision of reliable and disclosed information in the "CL / FFP IT Solution" system were explained. UEFA representatives focused on the deadlines for providing data through the use of the UEFA platform - CL / FFP IT Solution, filling the breakeven package, preventing overdue accounts payable and providing packages about their absence.

Also Alexis Angelopoulos and Ekaterina Gerasimova got acquainted with the work of the Licensing Department, positively noting the work of the Federation's employees in the process of issuing licenses to football clubs. The specialists supported the requirements put forward by the KFF for the country's football clubs in the development and reconstruction of the infrastructure.

Also, the UEFA guests liked the dynamics of the phased development of the football centers, the process of training the coaching staff at the Technical Center of the KFF and the task to improve the process of licensing football clubs included in the Strategy for thef Kazakhstan football development for 2018-2022.

After the seminar, the guests from UEFA visited the building under construction - the Football House. They paid attention at the original architectural solutions of the administrative building, including the structure of the football arena.

Alexis Angelopulos and Ekaterina Gerasimova expressed the KFF leaders a desire to hold the next UEFA seminar in the Football House.
