Michal Bilek Appointed Head Coach of the Kazakhstan National Team

The 53-year-old Czech specialist Michal Bilek has been appointed the head coach of the Kazakhstan national team.

Michal Bilek was born on April 13, 1965. He played for the national teams of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic as a midfielder. His coaching career began in the Czech FC 'Teplice'. He also coached the teams 'Cartahines' (Costa Rica), 'Khmel', 'Viktoria Plzen', 'Sparta Praha', 'Vysocina' (all - Czech Republic), 'Ruzomberok' (Slovakia), 'Dinamo Tbilisi' (Georgia ). His previous place of work was the Czech FC 'Fastav Zlin'.

The coaching staff of Michal Bilek includes: assistants - Slovak coach Michal Hipp and Talgat Baysufinov, goalkeeper coach Nikolay Rodionov.

Coaching achievements:

- Czech Champion, FC 'Sparta Praha' (2006/2007)

- Bronze medalist of the European U19 Championship of the Czech Republic (2003)
