Kazakhstan defeats Finland in the 2024 EURO qualification

The Kazakhstan national team defeated Finland 2:1 in Helsinki and completed its 8th match in the 2024 UEFA Euro qualification.

Finland took the lead in the first half thanks to a goal scored by Robert Taylor.

However, after the break, Baktiyor Zainutdinov scored second half double and led his team to the victory (2:1).

Moreover, Bakhtiyor Zaynutdinov bagged a brace to break Kazakhstan international goalscoring record (14 goals), the previous one was Ruslan Baltiev (13 goals).

The Kazakhstan national team gets 15 points in Group H.

The next match will take place on November 17 in Astana against San Marino. The final qualifier Kazakhstan will play away against Slovenia on November 21.
