Issues of professional football development to be discussed in Astana
The event brought together public figures, government representatives, football organizations, and non-governmental organizations aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of professional football in the country.
The round table was actively attended by deputies of the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Tourism and Sports, Finance, as well as heads of regional departments of physical culture and sports and representatives of regional branches of the People's Party of Kazakhstan.
Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and head of the faction of the People's Party of Kazakhstan Maharram Maharramov, in his welcoming speech, emphasized the importance of this initiative and expressed confidence in the productive cooperation of all interested parties to solve pressing problems of professional football.
The President of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, Adlet Barmenkulov, presented a report covering three key topics:
Legal mechanisms to effectively combat illegal activities in the sports system.
Financing of professional football clubs in Kazakhstan.
Betting market monitoring tools.
The report became the starting point for a discussion and the search for particular solutions.
At the end of the event, the results of the discussion were summed up and key areas for further action were highlighted. The organizers expressed gratitude to all participants for their contribution to the discussion and expression of public opinion.
