UEFA Football Doctor Workshop held in Astana

Doctors of the Second League and futsal clubs took part in the training course. The workshop covered various topics related to trauma and emergency treatment of players on and off the pitch.
On the first day, preparation for the football match, work plan during the match and post-match debriefing were discussed. In addition, a theoretical and practical learning on working with an automatic external defibrillator was held.
The second day covered both practice and theory with head injury and concussion, advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency medical care.
On the final day, the doctors reviewed and practised with leg injuries, abdominal injuries, spinal injuries, head and face injuries.
