Qyzylzhar vs Kairat

Min 68 – Close to the center circle, the ball is being challenged by two players. When they were arriving at the ball, in front of each other, home player 21 raised his leg up (to the opponents’ head level when he was preparing to head the ball) and hit him with the studs on the head. Clear serious foul play which the referee, very close, immediately punished correctly with a red card.

Correct no intervention from VAR after having checked the incident.

Correct final decision from referee to award a red card to the player.

Min 90 – Inside the away team penalty area, several players challenge for the ball. The ball rebounds and goes up in the air. The players lost consciousness where the ball was for some moments and when the ball was coming down it went directly to the defender's 25' arm. The player was not looking for the ball, his arm was close to the body and in a natural position for his movement (turning).

Correct no intervention from VAR after having checked the incident.

Correct final decision from referee to allow play to continue.
