First Module of UEFA A Elite Youth Course Concludes in Astana
The UEFA A Elite Youth course is designed to prepare coaches working in elite youth football environments. The programme aims to enhance professional competencies in the development of young players in line with the modern demands of the game.
During the first module, participants explored the philosophy and structure of coach education, training session analysis, the organisation and development of attacking play, as well as the management of the training process during the competitive period.
The module programme combined theoretical sessions, training analysis, practical coaching activities, small-group work, presentations, and discussions of practical assignments. Participants also received ongoing intermodule support from the course mentors.
Special attention was given to international approaches to player development, player-centred coaching principles, and the integration of game and training models in elite youth football.
Following the completion of the first module, participants will continue their education through intermodule assignments and practical coaching tasks.
The implementation of the UEFA A Elite Youth course forms part of the Kazakhstan Football Federation’s long-term coach education strategy. The programme is aimed at enhancing the quality of coach development within academies, professional clubs, and Kazakhstan’s youth national teams.
