KFF and PFLK Supported the Kazakhstani Clubs with the Start of EuroCup.

The staff of the Kazakhstan Football Federation and the Professional Football League of Kazakhstan took part in the marathon dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Astana and the start of Kazakhstan teams in European international tournaments. The event was held at the K. Munaitpasov Stadium in Astana.

The KFF General Secretary Azamat Aitkhozhin, the president of the PFLK Olzhas Abraev, the legendary player of the USSR national team, now the adviser to the president of the federation Seild Baishakov, the coaches of the Kazakhstan national team Stanimir Stoilov, Tsanko Tsvetanov, Said Ibraimov and many others took part in the marathon. In total, the participants ran almost 2.5 kilometers.

- Participation in such events contributes to strengthening the sense of patriotism, spiritual unity of the capital's residents and give additional support to the clubs, which have the honor to protect the colors of the country in Europe. Last night, Kostanay "Tobol" pleased the country with a guest victory over the club from Georgia. We hope that the rest of Kazakhstani teams will do their best in the EuroCups," Azamat Aitkhozhin said.

The former captain of the Kazakhstan team Kairat Nurdauletov, currently part of the coaching staff of the national team, noted the importance of this event and expressed the hope that additional support will contribute to the successful play of our clubs.

"In the year of the 20th anniversary of the capital, the football club "Astana", naturally, will try once again to please the city and the whole country with new victories," Nurdauletov said. - Today the team has an important match against the champions of Montenegro.
