Football Match Among Veterans Took Place in Almaty

A match among veterans of Astana and Almaty took place at the central stadium of the southern capital. Some of them earlier had played in such clubs as "Kairat", "Tselinnik" and for the Kazakhstan national team in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Vakhid Massudov, Ruslan Baltiev, Alexei Klishin, Alash Uteshev, Sergei Pasko, Yuri Avdeenko, the USSR master of sports Vladimir Pavlyuk, Konstantin Kotov, Vladimir Glevich, Vladimir Konovalov, Kairat Toksanbaev , Alexander Lisin, Ramil Khamitov and other well-known domestic players took the field.

The match ended with 2:1 in favor of veterans of Almaty. Kuralbek Ordabaev, Alexander Kulakov, Yusup Shadiev, as well as representatives of Akimats of Astana and Almaty attended the match as honorable guests.

Vladimir Konovalov and Ramil Khamitov were awarded the top players of the match.
