Astana Hosts UEFA Grassroots Week

The football festival, annually held by the Union of European Football Associations took place in Astana.

The event included various football exercises and games. This football festival was held with the UEFA support and in conjuction with the Kazakhstan Football Federation.

"Such actions of grassroots are very necessary to involve more people in the game number one in the world. Now in Kazakhsta, football is growing and developing both among young men of different ages and among girls. The Astana Football Federation is ready to support such actions as often as possible," FFA vice-president Ahmad Amirov said.
