Gennady Skurtul Appointed As KFF Technical Director

Gennady Scurtul was born on February 26, 1972.

He played in the youth team of Moldova, as well as in the FC 'Nistru', 'Zimbru' and 'Tigina' (Moldova). From 1998 to 2005, he was a football referee and inspector of the Moldovan Football Federation (MFF).

He also refereed matches of the National League of Moldova.

Winner of the coaching category PRO UEFA.

Since 2009 - UEFA delegate.

2009 - 2018 - Technical Director of the Football Federation of Moldova, Chairman of the FFM Coaches Committee and Director of the Federal School of Coaches.

Since 2012 - UEFA technical instructor.

Since 2013 - Member of the UEFA Coaching Education Commission.

Since 2013 - UEFA Technical Supervisor.

From 2017 - UEFA mainstream football consultant.

2018 - Consultant of the KFF Technical Center.

Achievements:

- Creation and successful functioning of the training system for coaches in the Football Federation of Moldova (From license C to full membership in the UEFA Coaching Convention)

- Programs preparation for the coaching training system

- Entertainment Schools Project (coordinator). The project was recognized as the best grassroots project in Europe in 2008

- Golden (highest) status of the FFM

- From 2013 to 2018 UEFA Technical Observer at UEFA Final tournaments, 17 and 19 years old

- In 2015/16/17/18 is a UEFA Technical Observer in the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League

- Since 2015, he has been a member of the working group on editing the UEFA Coaching Convention

- Since 2014, he has been a consultant to UEFA on issues of grassroots, coaching education and technical development. He advised countries such as Bulgaria, Slovakia, Romania, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Montenegro.

- He is a member of various UEFA technical development working groups and a UEFA instructor at all recent coaching education conferences.
