Yuri Logvinenko:

“Fifteen years ago, when I first got the chance to play for the national team, I could not even imagine that I would play more than fifty matches for my country. It has been a great honor for me.

I want to express my deep gratitude to our fans! You have always been with us and never stopped supporting us. I thank all the coaches of the Kazakhstan national team and all my teammates! It was a pleasure to play with you all these years!

It is always sad to say goodbye, especially to what you love. This decision was not easy, but it is very deliberate. Unfortunately, age and injury take their toll. But I am glad that I am ending my career on a positive note. Last year, we managed to achieve our main goal - to win the UEFA Nations League group and move up in the division. I want to separately thank Magomed Musaevich for his trust, despite the difficulties with injuries, as well as all the guys for the task!

I am grateful to the Kazakhstan Football Federation, as well as coaching, administrative and medical staff for their support and joint work!

I want to wish the national team good luck and success in the upcoming European Championship qualification! I will always cheer for our team and support them!”

The Kazakhstan Football Federation thanks Yuri Logvinenko for his brilliant performances in the national team and wishes him success in his future career!
