Football field in Talgar has been named after Kazakhstani footballer
As a part of the FIFA Forward program, the Kazakhstan Football Federation built three football fields in Talgar. Two of them are named in honor of the outstanding football players of Kazakhstan, who made a huge contribution to the development of domestic football - Seilda Baishakov and Serik Zheylitbaev.
The opening ceremony was attended by the family of Serik Zheylitbaev, Kazakhstani football veteran Viktor Katkov, adviser to the KFF President Seilda Baishakov and director of the KFF national teams department Gani Kainazarov.
Seilda Baishakov, on behalf of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, thanked the Zheylitbaev's family for invaluable contribution to the development of national football and presented a certificate of naming the football field after the famous football player.
At the end of the ceremony, a friendly match among veterans of national football took place, which ended in a friendly draw - 2:2.
