KFF and Kaspi.kz are joining forces to create a world-class football academy
Currently, The Kazakhstani investors are planning to open a children's football academy with a total investment of more than 10 billion tenge.
The Kazakhstan Football Federation will provide their support to this project.
KFF President Adlet Barmenkulov emphasized that this project is closely related to federation’s program for the development of children’s and youth football:
“Currently, in Kazakhstan about 1,200,000 children are engaged in football. We are carrying out comprehensive work to develop youth football: we are implementing a talent development scheme with UEFA, the purpose of which is to identify and train the best young players aged U-15, U-14 and U-13. This program also includes training for coaches working with teams in the U-15 and U-17 age groups.
To implement this ambitious program, John Stuart Hall, a UEFA Pro license holder with experience as the head of the Birmingham City Academy and many years of experience with FIFA in various regions of the world, was invited to Kazakhstan.
In partnership with the FIFA High Performance Department, under the leadership of the legendary football coach Arsene Wenger, a project is being implemented to create an academy for the U-15 national team. Large-scale work is being carried out with the involvement of the best FIFA and UEFA specialists.
Thus, the possibility of creating such an academy with our partners today is closely related to projects of the federation, which together implement the strategy for the development of Kazakhstani football.
I am glad that such investors as Vyacheslav Kim and Mikhail Lomtadze are appearing in our football community. I am confident that this project will make a significant contribution to the development of elite children’s and youth football,” said Adlet Barmenkulov.
