Kazakhstani referee to officiate UEFA Champions League match

Nargis Magau has been appointed as an assistant referee at the UEFA Women's Champions League match Juventus vs Bayern.

The match takes place on October 16 in Biella (Italy).

Referee: Ivana Projkovska (North Macedonia)

Assistant referee: Nargis Magau (Kazakhstan), Svetlana Hrushko (Ukraine)

Fourth official: Khristiana Guteva (Bulgaria)
This appointment is of particular value, as it was the first for Kazakhstani female referees since 2016 for Champions League matches. Moreover, this is the first appointment of Kazakhstani women referees in the new UEFA Champions League format.
