Kazakhstani clubs play on renovated fields
The football clubs “Altai”, “Aksu” and “Ulytau” played their matches on the new fields. Currently, the Kazakhstan Football Federation commissioned renovated fields in 10 regions of the country.
KFF project on renovation of football fields ALAÑ started in 2023. The project is carried out within the framework of execution of the order of the Head of State on the development of grassroots. The 3-year project is supported by UEFA. The main goal is to improve the quality of sports infrastructure and the development of grassroots in the country.
This year the match of the 26th round of QFL First League, where “Altai” hosted “Turkistan”, took place on the Italian quality turf, which meets all international standards. The game took place on September 26 at the reserve stadium “Vostok” in Oskemen. The coaching staff of the club “Altai” praised the quality of the new field.
“Conducting the training process on the old field was uncomfortable and traumatic. We had a lot of injuries. Therefore, the Kazakhstan Football Federation decided to upgrade the field. We appreciate it a lot. New fields - this is the development of our region. And I think it is nice for children to practice on the best fields, it is with the best surface. I think it will be only for the benefit of the development of children's football, as well as football in general in the North Kazakhstan Region”, - said head coach U-15 FC ”Altai” Igor Troeglazov.
Football club “Aksu” played its final match of the season in the 22nd round of QFL Second League in its hometown. On October 1, the team played against “Astana J”. The QFL pays special attention to the renovation of fields in single-industry towns and villages of the country.
“The development of grassroots is our main task. We have a plan to renew fields in all regions of Kazakhstan. If you notice, the emphasis is on bigger-sized fields. This year we have already covered single-industry towns. This practice will be continued next year. Definitely, we plan to upgrade the fields also in the country's villages,” said Adlet Barmenkulov, president of the Kazakhstan Football Federation.
Meanwhile, one of the main matches on the renovated fields under the ALAŇ project was held on Republic Day at the Metallurg Stadium in the city of Zhezkazgan. Within the final round of QFL First League the local club “Ulytau” defeated the capital FC ''SD Family''. In addition, the team from Zhezkazgan won silver in the tournament and advanced to the Premier League.
As noted in the KFF, in the near future it is planned to open fields in the cities of Kyzylorda, Atbasar and Saran. To follow the progress of construction and learn all the details of the project can be on YouTube-channel ALAÑ, where the project diaries are published. The new issue is dedicated to the opening of the renovated Dostyk Stadium in Ayagoza.
