“In two years, we have renovated 13 football fields. I believe that we have already made a great contribution to the development and popularization of grassroots. Next year, we plan to renovate 7 more. Work will be carried out on preparation of technical documentation and an application to UEFA. And we will meet next year on new football fielts,” the head of the ALAŇ project Sergey Popov said.
The ALAŇ project covered stadiums in the cities of Almaty, Shymkent, Aktobe, Zhezkazgan, Qyzylorda, Petropavl, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Ayagoz, Aksu, Balkhash, Atbasar, Saran and the village of Balpyk bi (Zhetysu region). The renovated fields hosted matches of professional football clubs and various youth tournaments. Football players and many experts highly praised the quality of the turf, which was brought from Italy.
"We are glad that thanks to the ALAŇ project of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, a new field appeared. I was born in Qyzylorda and began my career at the G.Muratbayev entral Stadium. Previously, there was sand here and we trained in such conditions. I am very happy for the children now. The quality of the turf is high. I am sure that players who grow up here will become the professional players of FC ''Kaysar'' and play for the national team," said Askhat Tagybergen, captain of the Kazakhstan national football team, at the opening of the reserve field of the G. Muratbayev Central Stadium in Qyzylorda.
The opening of the new fields took place with the participation of the KFF leadership and regional administrations. In addition, the former captain of the national team Samat Smakov held an open training session. Children also received memorable gifts from partners. The Football Federation noted that the organization of similar football festivals is planned for next year.
