KFF has renovated 13 football fields to UEFA standard

If in 2023, 4 football fields were put into operation, then by the end of this year the number has significantly increased. New turf is laid on stadiums in the cities of Almaty, Shymkent, Aktobe, Zhezkazgan, Qyzylorda, Petropavl, Oskemen, Ayagoz, Aksu, Balkhash, Atbasar, Saran and Balpyk bi village (Zhetysu region). Specialists gave a high assessment of the quality of fields, including the veteran of Kazakhstani football, head coach of FC “Altai” Vahid Masudov.

“The new field is of good quality, we can say, closer to ideal. It is great that there is such a project. Thanks to the Kazakhstan Football Federation there is such a high-quality field. We have severe weather conditions in Oskemen, and here now the field is heated”, - said Vahid Masudov at the opening ceremony of the reserve field of the stadium "Vostok" in Oskemen.

The KFF project ALAŇ on renovation of football fields started in 2023. The realization is carried out within the framework of execution of the order of the Head of State on development of mass sports. The 3-year project is supported by UEFA. The main goal is to improve the quality of sports infrastructure and the development of grassroots football in the country.

“Earlier in Zhezkazgan, only about 30 children attended football sections, and with the new status of the Ulytau region, for 7 months this number has increased to 700. It was a dream for children to play on such a new field. It is a very good project. On behalf of football fans we express our great gratitude to KFF. I think children's and youth teams will see the results of the project within 4-5 years.” - said the president of the Football Association of the region Ulytau Galym Nurzhanov.
