KFF takes part in 75th FIFA Congress in Asuncion

KFF was represented by the KFF General Secretary David Loria and the Head of the Directorate for Competitions among professional football clubs Bakhytzhan Pazylkhayir.
The event coincided with the 100th anniversary of the Paraguayan Football Association's accession to FIFA and became the starting point for South America's preparations for important international tournaments: the 2027 Women's World Cup and the 2030 World Cup, which will mark the 100th anniversary of the first World Cup.
The Congress agenda included summing up the results of 2024, approving the financial statements and budget for 2026. FIFA President Gianni Infantino once again emphasized the importance of actively combating racism and expressed gratitude to all FIFA member countries for supporting the organization's initiative to combat discrimination.
Particular attention was paid to the new FIFA Club World Cup, that kicks off on 14 June in Miami (the USA) and includes a prize pot of USD 1 billion for the 32 participating clubs.
The next FIFA Congress will be held on April 30, 2026 in Vancouver, Canada.
