Kazakhstan WU17 cruise past Montenegro to secure promotion to League A
The match ended in a convincing 4-1 victory for Yulia Mamonova’s side. Botagoz Zhumazhanova scored twice for Kazakhstan, with Sofya Yagudina and Balzhan Tolemis also on target.
Following their win over Montenegro and a 2-2 draw against Moldova in their opening match, Kazakhstan finished on four points to top their group. As a result, the team secured promotion to League A of the 2026/27 UEFA European Championship qualifying.
Botagoz Zhumazhanova was the team’s top performer, registering three goals and one assist.
