The European Championship-2019 qualifying match between the youth teams of Kazakhstan and Slovenia ended in a goalless draw.

From the first moments of the match our team tried to move from their half of the field to the opposite, trying to create dangerous chances. The first serious attempt to score goal was a cross of Ivan Antipov from outside the penalty area, but the goalkeeper of Slovenia managed to keep goals.

The Kazakhstanis tried to open the defense of the rivals. The rivals also began to put pressure and earned a penalty. The Slovenian players also almost scored from outside the penalty area, but the ball passed over the gates.

A really stressful moment for the defenders of the Slovenian national team took place in the thirty-sixth minute, when Ivan Antipov, after a pass from Ramazan Orazov and running as close as possible to the goalkeeper could put it into the back of the net, but the goalkeeper again defended gates.

The second half started with the active actions of the Kazakhstan youth team. Unfortunately, these actions lacked completion. In one of the episodes, thanks to Maxim Fedin, the Kazakhstanis managed to break the dangerous counterattack of the rivals. In the eighty-fourth minute, Kazakhstanis had the opportunity to score, but failed again, both teams attacked, but until the end of the the match the score remained the same 0:0.

September 11, the Kazakhstan youth team will play their second leg, which will be held in the city of Ptuj.
