KFF launches football pitch renovation program

The program will be implemented in 2023-2024 with the support of FIFA and UEFA. As part of the program, artificial turf will be allocated free of charge to regional authorities for the construction of low-budget football grounds for grassroots football.

KFF President Adlet Barmenkulov said:

“The main goal of this program is to support the regions in their activities aimed at the development and promotion of youth and grassroots football. The program will include football fields requiring renovation in populated areas. This is not only the revival of football grounds, it is a powerful impetus for the development of mass sports in the country.”

The Federation has developed standards and requirements for football fields. Applications for participation on behalf of the heads of subjects of local executive authorities must be submitted to the KFF before May 15, 2023.
