Kazakhstan defeats New Zealand and reaches the 1/8 finals of the World Cup-2024
The final match in group stage Kazakhstan played against New Zealand. The match was held at the “Humo Arena” in Tashkent. Arnold Knaub scored five goals for Kazakhstan who have notched up their biggest ever win at the FIFA World Cup. Leo scored twice. Akzhol Daribai and Rinat Turegazin, who scored their debut goals at the World Cup, also scored a goal each.
In the 38th minute Kazakhstan remained in the minority - Leo got the red card and left the pitch.
The final result - 10:0. Thus,Kazakhstan took second place in Group D and promotes to the 1/8 finals and will play with the winner of Group E.
