The Kazakhstan Football Federation continues to implement the large-scale ALAŇ project. About 30 different tournaments have already been held on the renovated football fields. More than 450 teams took part in them.

The KFF project ALAŇ was launched last year. It is implemented as part of the execution of the order of the Head of State for the development of grassroots football. The project, designed for 3 years, is supported by UEFA. The main goal is to improve the quality of the sports infrastructure and develop grassroots fooytball in the country.

To date, fields that meet all international standards have been renovated in 10 regions of the country. The renovated field of the CSKA stadium in Almaty hosted 15 competitions this year, where about 4 thousand participants were involved, and the stadium of children and youth schook No.2 in Aktobe hosted 8 tournaments, which covered 4,052 participants. Also, three competitions were held on the new field of the Batyrzhan Ongarov stadium in the village of Balpyk bi.

"I believe that thanks to the ALAŇ project, the level of our young football players will increase. We, as coaches, in turn, will make efforts. I am sure that in the future, players of the level of Samat Smakov, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi will grow up among our children. All the conditions for this are there,” said football coach Yerzhan Askarov at the opening of the renovated field at the Metallurg stadium in Balkhash.

Meanwhile, pupils of local football centers continue to hold training sessions on the new pitches. Professional football players have also recently appreciated the quality of the turf. The football clubs ''Altay'', ''Turkistan'', ''Ulytau'' and SD Family held official matches within the QFL First League.

“Next week, 3 more regions of Kazakhstan will receive new fields that meet all UEFA requirements. The football festival will be held in the cities of Qyzylorda, Atbasar and Saran. It is very important for us to develop grassroots football. For this, we will create all the necessary conditions,” the KFF president Adlet Barmenkulov added.
