Aleksander Čeferin: UEFA will help and invest more in the development of Kazakhstani football

KFF President Marat Omarov took the opening speech:
- Today is a special day for Kazakhstani football. With an official visit to our country arrived UEFA President Alexander Čeferin. This important visit is a clear and vivid evidence that Kazakhstan's international co-operation is reaching a new, deeper level.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received UEFA President. During the meeting they discussed key issues concerning the current state and future of domestic football.
From the side of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, we presented our proposals for the development of football in the country. Among them - improving infrastructure, support for grassroots and the development of children's and youth football.
Kazakhstan football has great potential. I am confident that with joint efforts we can achieve high results in the international arena," Marat Omarov said.
Aleksander Čeferin, noted that UEFA is ready to provide full support in the development of Kazakhstani football:
- Today we had a very fruitful conversation with President Tokayev. I saw that he is a great fan of sport and football in particular. Our idea is that the football infrastructure in Kazakhstan should develop. We have a great friendly relationship with Mr Omarov and in the future UEFA will help and invest more in the development of Kazakhstani football.
