KFF launches programme for coaches of youth and women's national teams

The programme is aimed at improving the efficiency of the coaching staff and introducing modern approaches in the training of national teams, partuculary in key age groups. It will be an important part of the implementation of the KFF technical strategy for 2025-2029.
As part of the project, coaches will be supported by local specialists and provided with regular expert evaluation of plans and training process, access to up-to-date methodological materials and training events, assistance in individual planning of professional development, as well as support in preparation for international matches and official tournaments.
Experienced coaches and technical specialists with extensive experience in national and club structures have been involved in the implementation of the project:
Talgat Baisufinov - ex-head coach of the Kazakhstan national team (2016-2018 and 2021-2022)
Vladimir Nikitenko - ex-head coach of the Kazakhstan U-21 national team and a number of Premier League clubs
Viktor Semenov - a coach and mentor with extensive coaching experience at Premier League clubs
Kaloyan Petkov - head coach of ZhFK BIIC-Shymkent, ex-coach of the Kazakhstan women's national team
Evgeny Sveshnikov - coach and mentor, methodologist for work with youth teams; coaching experience in KPL clubs
Igor Shpanera - technical expert with experience in UEFA programmes and national academies, SAB QJ League expert.
''Coaches of youth and women's national teams play a key role in the future of our football. Therefore, KFF relies on creating a systematic, professional environment where each coach receives the necessary support to grow and achieve results,'' said Gennady Skurtul, director of the KFF Technical Department.
The programme will start in May 2025 and will cover both men's and women's national teams of different ages.
